War wounds from first shots.

Home

Finally!! We are home!! We arrived on Tuesday 6th at Midnight. Two of our daughters and our Pastors were at the Airport to meet us. (AT MIDNIGHT!!!!) I cried. All the emotions suddenly came together and BLAH, out it all came. It was so good to see our kids, friends, America, Bend. It marked the begining of our new life.

We know more got back and because of the delay in Hanoi, we had to be in Monterey on Friday for a speaking engagement Randy had and a birthday party for my Dad. It took until the following week to feel settled.

Jack has had his MD appointment and everything is great. He is developementally right where he should be and physically too. He turned 8months old today and we took him to get his picture taken. Everyday is a new experience. He loves his bed and is already sleeping all night. He gets his last bottle at 9pm and wakes up at 6:30 am. He is experimenting with fruits and veggies and rice cereal. He eats so much better than he did in the beginning, although you can't tell by the pics.

It's so good to be home and we are glad not to be traveling again too soon. Next, China! Talk to you all soon. Sandy and Randy

Going Home

Hi all,

We pick up Jack's Visa on Monday and Fly out on Tuesday. I see it's been 32 degrees at night in Bend, so Jack is in for a climate change. We arrive at 1159pm. We have clothes to bundle him in, all is well. It's been 70's here and you see people pulling out the winter scarves and coats. Christmas lights are being hung over the streets already. It's kinda funny. I can't wait for Jack to meet his family and his dogs. He's never seen a dog as far as I know. (not alive anyway). I'll attempt to post a couple pics. Talk to you all in America if not sooner. Sandy and Randy.
